Jacke and Mike Palindrome in Conversation

Mike Palindrome, the President of the Literature Supports Club, joined Jacke for the first time back in January 2018 to talk about the Top 10 Animals in Literature episode (Episode 128).  

The episode takes a look at animals, big and small, who have enchanted or enraged or otherwise engaged with or subsumed humanity. Authors, works, and animals discussed include William Shakespeare, Herman Melville, Roald Dahl, T.S. Eliot, Leo Tolstoy, Franz Kafka, Ovid, William Blake, Beverly Cleary, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Carbonel: King of the Cats, The Wind in the Willows, and George Orwell, among many others. 

They've also discussed best sports novels, best literary century and most recently taking sides on whether English or French novels are best!

They also take time to go to the movies, taking a look at the iconic films of Alfred Hitchcock.
